Hello!

I am a New York–based freelance writer and editor focused on art and visual culture.

As a journalist I am invested in humane and equitable editorial practices, whether reflected in newsroom structures or in the nuances of language. And as a copyeditor, I am passionate about grammar, diction, and all things style.

I am currently the copyeditor and fact-checker at Momus and a regular contributor to The Art Newspaper. Previously, I was deputy editor at Borderless Magazine, a member-supported newsroom working to dismantle racist and harmful media coverage of immigrants; the assistant digital editor at Chicago magazine; and a staff reporter at the arts publication Hyperallergic.

My work has also appeared in publications including the New York Times, New York Magazine, Artforum, ARTnews, Frieze, American Craft, Artsy, VICE, Atlas Obscura, Architectural Digest, Brooklyn Rail, Cultured, and Smithsonian Magazine.
